The Hospitality Management Company in co-operation with Business hotel “Karelia” has elaborated a development plan for the hospitality industry enterprises for the next 3 years. Within the framework of the developed plan, a pricing policy and hotel promotion strategy in electronic sales channels were formed. For competent and efficient price positioning, regular monitoring of the prices of the hotels from competitor-set was conducted. Beside this the position of the hotel on the matrix of competitors was determined. The sales results of the hospitality company in comparison with the other market representatives and the development of appropriate recommendations were discussed during weekly meetings.
In accordance with the development program of Business hotel Karelia the active work was carried out to promote social networks, in particular, the development and implementation of actions on the Foursquare platform to attract customers. "Business Hotel Karelia" became the Guinness Book of Records record holder in the field of art and culture as the largest three-dimensional picture in the world (Art Project "Suitcases").
