Hotel “Voyage”

The specialists of our company conducted audits of all hotel departments. Based on the inspections results, it became possible to identify the problem zones, in which corrective measures were developed and approved together with the hotel owner and department heads.

Project aim

Hotel Voyage owner contacted The Hospitality Management Company with the purpose of getting advice and support concerning the successful opening of the new hotel building (at that the building was under construction time). He was also interested in in modern management methods for training the employees as well as in identifying organisational problems. The tasks were the following:

  • Hotel manager Training;
  • Operational audit;
  • Selection and adjustment of the new automated control system.
Results

The specialists of our company conducted audits of all hotel departments. Based on the inspections results, it became possible to identify the problem zones, in which corrective measures were developed and approved together with the hotel owner and department heads.

Taking into account a number of identified problems and the new hotel building launching, the Hospitality Management team created a new organizational structure and staff schedule for all hotel services. Bonus programs were developed for the FO and Housekeeping departments to increase the motivation of employees.

The development and provision of hotel standards (SOP) work for all hotel service specially adapted to the specifics of this hotel was the important part of work.

One of the main problems was the outdated and incorrectly configured automated control system (ACS), which did not display the true information for management reporting - our specialists restored manually all data for the past 4 years. The Hospitality Management Company conducted an analysis of existing control systems (PMS) in the Russian market. Based on the analysis results and the necessary functionality, an appropriate control system was recommended for this hospitality enterprise. Also the Hospitality Management Company specialists provided an active assistance in the preparation and filling of installation file necessary for the normal system functioning.

The Hospitality Management specialists have read the course on revenue management and sales management as a part of the management training process.

We also developed a rate matrix for 2016, which takes into account the hotel specifics.

To increase the efficiency of work in electronic sales channels, it was decided to connect the channel manager. Also the specialists of Hospitality Management Company chose and configured channel manager service.

Another important work stage was done on the formation of the right contract templates. The Hospitality Management Company in conjunction with the Hotel "Voyage" carried out an analysis of existing contracts and identified items that required correction and refinement. The Hospitality Management Company provided new templates. Using these templates new contracts with tour operators and corporate clients were formed and concluded.
